Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies:


  • 6 TB butter
  • 4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 TB cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over medium heat.
  3. Stir in sugar, then remove from heat.
  4. Let cool for about 5 minutes.
  5. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
  6. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and chocolate chips.
  7. In a greased 9×9 pan, pour brownie batter.
  8. Place peanut butter in a ziploc bag, snip off the tip, and pipe onto the batter in stripes.
  9. Swirl a knife in the opposite direction of the stripes, creating a swirly pattern.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until set.
